Yes, I realize this is a lot of money and I balk at putting a price tag on something invaluable that I would prefer to give you for free. Especially as I am helping you “do good in the world,” many people question this, assuming I am out to take advantage of you. In order to reduce these fears here is why I charge what I do:

  • There is a lot of competition for my time and is the most valuable thing I can give
  • I need to pay for childcare and costs of running a business
  • When Average Advocate profits, it expands its influence, empowering more people do good
  • One-third of Average Advocate’s profits go to helping world-changing visions take flight
  • This is actually on the lower side of average for most coaching/consultant’s costs
  • Most people don’t balk at paying a mechanic or a counselor $100 an hour, and I am actually asking for much less
  • If people have a high stake, they are actually likely to get something out of it, without that cost most individuals don’t make it a priority
  • I do life coaching for free for leaders I am currently investing in
  • I also have the Mentorship Circle as a free resource and year-long commitment for those who apply and are a good fit
