Want to make doing good easier? Take advantage of the resources out there during the month through January’s themes and advocacy days.
Instead of reinventing the wheel, we simply join in with what is already out there. This reduces a lot of the stress, overwhelm, and hindrances around changemaking. So here is how you do it.
- Choose one of the slides below or one of the “extras” in the “Other Notable Days”
- Look up the topic in a Google search, ChatGPT, on a hashtag in social media, or just in the search bar on social media
- Scroll a minute and click on something that interests you
- You can share something online, sign a petition, make a small donation, join with others in an advocacy idea, talk about whatever it is you choose with your friends, learn something, reach out to a person you know struggling or connect to the topic…
- Share with our group what you are going to do and see if anyone else wants to join
